Zarine Khan (born 25 May 1984 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India) is an Indian actress and model who appears in Bollywood films. She started her acting career in 2010 with the film Veer, starring Salman Khan.Khan was born to a Muslim Pathan family in Mumbai.Although she had never planned to be model,but when her cousin insisted her to lose weight then she began to focus on losing weight and getting into shape. She gave up sweets and started going to the gym, eventually losing a large amount of weight. Khan was forced to abandon her education while in college and begin working due to the financial troubles of her family.
