March 11, 2011, (Sawf News) - Zarine Khan, the Katrina Kaif look alike who deubted in Bollywood with Veer opposite Salman Khan, will now sizzle in an item song with him in Ready.
The 26-year-old recently filmed the song in various clubs in Bangkok over three days.
Zarine flew into the city with Arbaaz Khan; both make cameo appearances in a short scene in the film.
Director Anees Bazmi had earlier told TOI:
"It's a small scene. We needed Arbaaz and Zarine. Salman's equation with them made it easy for us to get them to agree to do the scene," said Bazmi.
Zarine's appearance in the item song, choreographed by Raju Khan and Mudassar Khan, hadn't been announced.
Zarine hasn't done a film since Veer, a box office dud, so her mentor Salman is helphing her stay amidst the buzz with the hot and happening item song in Ready.
The film is due for release on June 3.
Earlier this month Zarine joined Malaika Arora Khan and Jacqueline Fernandes for an item song performance at a politician son's wedding. Zarine danced to Sheela Ki Jawani at Kanwar Singh Tanwar's son's wedding reception.
