Sachin Tendulkar made his debut when he was only 15 years plus when he visited Pakistan with Indian team in 1989. He hit 59 at Faisalabad in his second Test. His first century came against England when he made 119 at Old Trafford in 1990. Since then Tendulkar has ruled world cricket and is world's best batsman today. Tendulkar was in his 79th one-day international, playing against Australia at Colombo in 1994, when he hit his first century in the shortened version of the game. His 18th century came against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo just four years later placing him at the top of the list, passing Desmond Haynes in the 100-scoring stakes. He now has 11,000 runs and also 100 wickets in one-day cricket. Tendulkar also became the second highest century maker in Test cricket hitting his 29th century on the first day of the second Test against the West Indies at the Queen�s Park Oval in Trinidad on April 19. Tendulkar has become the tenth batsman in the world and only the second Indian to complete 8000 runs in Test cricket. He is also the youngest to achieve this feat. In the 2003 World Cup, In the World Cup, Sachin surpassed Javed Miandad's record as the highest all-time scorer in World Cups, amassing a total of 673 runs in 11 matches and winning player of the World Cup 2003 award. Sachin remains the top scorer in all World Cups with 1732 runs in 33 matches. In the recent series against Bangladesh, Sachin became only the second player in the history of Test cricket to score 34 centuries.
