Another 100 for Sachin Tendulkar, with his records list. We are sure the list will grow. The list surely does tell what great caliber does Sachin Tendulkar possess. When Sachin Tendulkar toured Pakistan to face the finest bowling attacks ever in cricket, Michael Schumacher was yet to race a Formula 1 car, Lance Armstrong had never been to the Tour de France, Diego Maradona was captain of the world champion Argentine team, Pete Sampras had never won a Grand Slam title, Roger Federer was a name no one knew of , Lionel Messi was probably in his nappies, Usain Bolt was an unknown kid back in Jamaica. The Berlin Wall still existed firmly, USSR was one big, big country fighting the Cold War, Dr Manmohan Singh was yet to open the Narsimha Rao’s Indian economy.
It seems while time was having his toll on every individual on the face of this planet, he excused one man. Time stands frozen in front of Sachin Tendulkar. We have had champions, we have had legends, but we have never had another Sachin Tendulkar and we never will.
