The Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi insisted he will not resign and described as ‘factional’ and ‘shameful’ protests against him yesterday, which organizers said a million people participated. In a telephone interview with the program ‘The telefonata’, the private broadcaster Mediaset (owned), the mayor said to be ‘very friendly’ towards women.
“The women know the account I have for them. With them I have always behaved with great attention and respect, in both my business and in government, “he said.
“Women have always been the best in school, are smarter and more prepared, more responsible and arrive at the solution of problems without many scribbles, I have always behaved that every woman feel special being,” he added.  He said the Milan prosecutors, who accused him of power abuse and prostitution of minors by their relationship with the Moroccan Karim El Mahroug, known as Ruby, has trampled the dignity of their guests, when exposed to public condemnation ‘for no reason ‘.
He was referring to the wiretapping of conversations of many young people invited to their parties the ‘bunga bunga’ (orgies), they insulted him and made it clear that they received money and gifts to maintain relations with him. According to Berlusconi, the protests on Sunday (called by women’s organizations) were “a pretext” to support the judicial arguments against him.
“I saw the popular mobilization of the left factious, it is not able to win (in elections), “he said.  Hundreds of thousands of people participated Sunday in rallies across the country and even abroad to demand the resignation of prime minister.  It is expected that in the coming days the preliminary inquiry judge of the Court of Milan to decide whether to accept the request of the prosecution to prosecute the prime minister to proceed immediately.
