ANGELINA JOLIE, BRAD PITT and their six kids are reportedly househunting in Budapest, Hungary so the actress can make her directorial debut with a film about the war in Yugoslavia at the beginning of the 1990s.
Jolie spent the weekend (21-22Aug10) scouting for locations in the city with the couple's two-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne, according to X17Online.com, and filming on the top secret project will begin in November (10) if plans go her way.
The hard hitting film reportedly focuses on a horrific sex crime amid the conflict when a Serbian soldier raped a Bosnian woman.
The website reports Jolie was inspired to shoot the story after visiting refugee camps in Bosnia earlier this year (10).
Parts of the hard-hitting movie will also be shot in Belgrade, Serbia.
"So much has been written about Angie and Brad. They're sort of the Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton of our era. I knew she was a big star, but I didn't know what to expect."

JOHNNY DEPP was pleasantly surprised to finally meet ANGELINA JOLIE and her boyfriend BRAD PITT on the set of their new movie THE TOURIST.
The interview was aired by the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) yesterday (08JUN06), and Pitt and Jolie sat side by side as they expressed their love for the African country, which has been their temporary home since April (06).
Pitt said, "I'd just like to thank the people of Namibia. They've been so gracious and made our stay here very special, and because of that we've had an incredible time with our family exploring the country, and (had) a truly peaceful birth of our daughter."
Jolie said their stay has been "an amazing adventure", and added, "We love this part of the world."
ANGELINA JOLIE has been honoured in Cambodia - by having a cocktail named after her.
A bartender at The Red Piano restaurant in Siem Reap created the drink especially for the actress, when she visited the south east Asian nation to shoot Tomb Raider in 2002.
Now all visitors to the Red Piano can experience the beverage - named Tomb Raider in Jolie's honour.
The cocktail is a mix of vodka, Malibu rum and pineapple juice, served with an umbrella.

LATEST: The birth of ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT's twins has been confirmed by the mayor of Nice, France, who has displayed the baby boy and girl's birth certificates at a press conference.
Christian Estrosi showed off the documents on the steps of the Foundation Lenval hospital on Sunday (13Jul08), where Jolie delivered Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline the day before.
The certificates showed Knox was born at 6.27pm and his sister a minute later.
Estrosi described the birth as "a pride to Nice and all its citizens", reports People.com.
He added, "On behalf of the inhabitants of Nice, I congratulate the happy parents, the most famous couple of the world who have chosen our city for this happy event.
"I also congratulate the four brothers and sister of the newborns who are (history won't forget it) real 'Niçois' ('citizens of Nice')."

The movie star lined up with the other extras for an early morning shoot in Hungary on 14 November (10).
A source tells Us Weekly magazine, "Angie hired him."
But details of Pitt's small role in the film have not been revealed.
Jolie's untitled movie - a love story set against the backdrop of the Bosnian War - is currently shooting in Hungary and Bosnia.

Jolie and Depp teamed up for the fast-paced thriller and became firm friends, inviting their partners to join them for starry nights out.
Jolie tells WENN, "At the end of the day we all got together, Brad and myself and Johnny and Vanessa and our boys ended up playing video games all night long and we'd drink wine and talk. It was just lovely."
And it seems Venice was the perfect place to begin a new celebrity friendship: "When you go out there, you don't know whether you're stepping up into a boat or down into a boat depending on the tides. Then you drive your boat to some other place on the water; logistically it was very odd to be on boats all the time but loads of fun.
"We'd have dinners and then halfway through, you'd have to get Wellington boots on, because, by the time you got finished eating, the water had risen. Everybody walks home in their Wellies. It was fun."
