Zarine says she would never don a bikini

The new kid on the bloc, the sexy-looking Zarine Khan, has just debuted with "Veer" opposite Salman Khan in his home production. Zarine, with chiseled features and a sharp nose, admits that she may never be able to muster the courage to appear on-screen clad in a two-piece costume.

While conceding that she would be putting on modern costumes in her future movies, she says that she strongly felt that she wasn’t made for the bikini at all. “This could be because I’m utterly convinced that I look fat among those Kareenas and Katrina," Zarine, who is very conscious about her weight, said.

"Unless I get rid of the flab in my body, I can’t hope to wear ultra-glamourous dresses and hope to look good. I once weighed around 100 kilos and now, I feel it's just a matter o a few more pounds to go and after that it should all be well," said Zarin, who understands the need to look slim and trim in Bollywood.

"Whatever role that I consent to play, it has to be done with dedication. However, I'm a new entrant and there are so many established actresses who are taking the size zero route.  Obviously, I can't beat them due to my body structure; I only wish that I get back into shape to the best of my ability," she said.
