Zarine Khan at ramp of 8th Annual Orissa Garments Trade Fair

The 8th Annual Odisha Garments Trade Fair, organised by the Odisha Garment Association (OGA) here from July 22, came to an end on Saturday evening with a glittering fashion show whose star attraction was Zarine Khan ,the leading lady of the Salman Khan starrer Veer.

Inaugurating the event, Minister of Textiles & Handlooms Anjali Behera observed that long ago Odisha used to supply garments all over the world but in recent times people in search of good garments have to go out of the State for it. She observed that while the Chief Minister was trying to restore the State's glorious past the efforts of OGA in organising such trade fairs have ensured that the latest styles and materials are available here for the residents of the State.

OGA president Ashok Kumar Agarwal thanked all the participants of the fair for making it successful and handed over a memorandum to the minister with a request top hand it over to Finance Minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadai.

The event saw participation from over 700 retailers, distributors and C&F agents from all over the State that showed keen interest in the hundreds of brands displayed there to meet the demand of the customers in the state for festive season of the state which is normally from the Ganesh Chaturthi upto Deepawali and the marriage season that follows immediately after it.
