I can't be compared with Katrina: Zarine Khan

I can’t be compared with Katrina: Zarine Khan
Zarine Khan, the beautiful heroine of superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming period drama ‘Veer’, says that it was a huge compliment for her for being compared to Katrina Kaif, as the latter is widely accepted by many as an ‘epitome of beauty’. In fact, Zarine admits that on a couple of occasions when she hat met Katrina, she simply “couldn't take her eyes off her.” On a personal level, though, she admits that she doesn’t find any similarity between her and Kaif.
Zarine wanted to become a doctor but has now turned an actress by sheer chance. ‘I couldn't continue my studies due to financial crisis and the responsibility of taking care of the whole family fell on my shoulders.  Bu virtue of having become an actress, I can now be anyone I want: a doctor, a nurse, a pilot or an engineer, you see!” says Zarine, flashing her now-famous smile.

"Salman is a great actor and I’m obviously a great fan of him. When I met him on the sets of ‘Yuvraaj’, I started talking to him like his fans would do.  I seldom expected that he was planning to take me as his heroine in his film ('Veer'). Finally, when I asked for his autograph, Salman refused politely and said that it won’t be long when I myself would start signing autographs,” says Zarine.

Anil Sharma, director of "Veer", kept Zarine's name a secret and had reportedly the actress to maintain it for a long time. “I was only allowed to give some clue to my parents," says Zarine. Set in colonial India, the film brings to life a period when Britons enslaved India with their divide and rule policy and depicts the bravery of the Pindaris who preferred death to dishonor and fought till their last breath.
Salman plays one of the bravest and strongest Pindari soldiers.
