Chandigarh: Dashing left-hand batsman Yuvraj Singh joined in the chorus on Wednesday, demanding Bharat Ratna for Sachin Tendulkar, saying the batting icon deserved it the most.
"Sachin Tendulkar should get Bharat Ratna for his services to the game and he deserve it the most," he told reporters on his return to his home town here.
The man-of-the-tournament in the just-concluded World Cup, Yuvraj said his happiest moment came when India won the coveted trophy.
"The moment (captain MS) Dhoni hit the winning six, I cherished the moment most," he said.
The middle-order batsman also added that all matches from quarterfinals to the final were important for the team, and not just the semi-final clash with arch-rivals Pakistan.
"All the games in the World Cup were important...there was no point in winning two games and then losing in the final," Yuvraj said.
Stating that he was looking at carrying on with his current form in the upcoming IPL, followed by series in West Indies and England, Yuvraj said, "Lot of games like IPL, Test matches are coming and I am confident of performing well in these games and series in the coming months."
On his return to his home town, he said he was eagerly waiting to eat his favourite 'karhi chawal' and 'rajma chawal'.
"I will eat a lot of karhi chawal and rajma chawal," he said.
About getting married, the 29-year-old said that he was still waiting for the right match. "I am just 28-29 and not touched 40."
