First MBA & youngest Village Sarpach of India: Chhavi Rajawat, Chhavi Rajawat, Chhavi Rajawat UN, MBA sarpanch



Chhavi Rajawat’ 30 yrs old, an unusual young woman, highly educated now becamea  Sarpanch of a village names Soda, about 60 kilometres far from Jaipur. She is the youngest and only MBA village head in India. This position is mostly occupied by the elders of a village. Chhavi Rajawat is an Indian politician. 
Chhavi Rajawat was born in Rajasthan. She is an alumna of Rishi Valley School, Bangalore, Lady Shri Ram College for Women (University of Delhi) and a management graduate from Indian Institute of Modern Management, Pune now known as Balaji Institute of Modern Management Pune
She got this Dedication her grandfather and  from 20 years ago Chhavi Rajawat’s grandfather retired from the job of Soda’s sarpanch, a job he’d held for 15 years.  He used his network and influence to bring electricity to the village, schools, a hospital, roads.  But since he retired, all development in the area stopped.
 “A village is a small community – and they said that if so many women wanted this job, the community would be driven apart by rivalries, but if I ran, then the village would remain united”, says Chhavi.
