One of Monica Bellucci's films released in 2010 is The Whistleblower. Based on true story, The Whistleblower is a drama telling experiences of Kathryn Bolkovac (Rachel Weisz), a Nebraska cop who served as a peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia. The story became interesting when Bolkovac outed the U.N. for covering up a sex scandal.

But if you are not lucky enough, you might only be finding the Black Sea lying there :)

If one wonders how it feels to be a Hollywood star, Monica Bellucci might be the best to answer.
In a Washington interview, Monica reveals Hollywood's glamour has been a tiresome life for her. Premieres, parties, smokes, and alcohol are all she gets rid of lately. Monica just enjoys being with her daughter Deva.
Well, Monica might be staying away from Hollywood parties but I bet she loves to attend birthday parties of her daughter's friends.
How fortunate today's children are!
In an interview, Monica says that everybody thinks she is stupid, but she's not. She's got talent.
'Cmon! Celebs say that often and I know Paris Hilton is the one who loves announcing she's a genius beauty. (who would believe a wino walking drunk after party and saying that? I'll never!)
Is Monica such an exception?
Let's go through her later statement:
"...here [Europe] they're not obsessed with age and weight. Here actresses can work for many, many years. In America you can be a great actress and have no work by the time you're 40. This is a tragedy, so I don't want to live this tragedy."
Does she mean to keep her career down the Europe? (Because that's the only place where everybody thinks she's smart? LOL!)
Go check her latest photos and tell me if she's smart enough for America.
Bellucci Loves to Bare It All
Monica’s fans have taken plenty of pleasure watching her in films like Shoot ’Em Up, starring Clive Owen. And the actress says that she loves the idea that men pay to see her.
Monica admits that being in front of the camera makes her shed her inhibitions as quickly as her clothing.
“When I am acting, it’s like I’m in a trance,” she said. “You do things you would never do normally. You don’t feel cold — even if you are naked,” she added.

Italian Movies Dominate Rome Film Festival
An Italian love drama starring Monica Bellucci will open this year's Rome film festival, which will give more emphasis on Italian flavor rather than Hollywood presence. The festival includes 21 Italian films, featuring "8," a collection of eight short films inspired by the U.N. Millennium Development Goals on poverty.
Still, international stars like Keira Knightley, Colin Farrell and Viggo Mortensen are due to attend, while Al Pacino will receive a lifetime achievement award.
Six titles by Italian film-makers are in the main 20-title competition, including "L'Uomo che ama" (The Man Who Loves) with Bellucci which will kick off the movie marathon.
Other highlights include two films already presented at the Toronto festival last month, 18th-century romance "The Duchess" with Knightley and cop drama "Pride and Glory" - the only U.S. film in Rome's competition, starring Farrell and Edward Norton.

Bellucci in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee
Bellucci is now in a movie set of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. The film is announced to be premiered in 2009.
It is also starred Blake Lively, Keanu Reeves, and Winona Ryder. So, what the film is about? Here we have a review from Pippa Lee LLC and Elevation Filmworks LLC:
At fifty, Pippa Lee positively glows with female serenity, the devoted wife of a brilliant publisher thirty years her senior, proud mother of successful twins and a lovely and adored friend and neighbor. But, when her husband spontaneously decides that they should leave New York for a retirement home as a "pre-emptive strike against decrepitude," and has an affair with someone even younger than she is, Pippa finds her beatific persona unraveling in alarming ways. The truth is, the gracious woman of the present day has seen more than her fair share of the wild side. She has finally found love and security in a family of her own. And now, that cozy world, too, is in danger.
Are you ready for Bellucci's performance in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee?
Just wait until 2009 comes...
