Sanjay Khan (Hindi: संजय ख़ान) is an Indian actor, director and producer.
Career
Khan made his debut in the 1964 Chetan Anand film "Haqeeqat" followed by the Rajshri film Dosti. In the 1960s and 1970s Khan starred in the movies Dus Lakh, Ek Phool Do Mali and Intaqam. He also acted opposite his brother Feroz in three films Upaasna (1971), Mela (1971) and Nagin (1976). He turned producer and director of three films in which he played the leading role which were Chandi Sona (1977), Abdullah(1980) and Kala Dhanda Goray Log (1986). After Kala Danda Goray Log he stopped acting in films and moved onto starring in and directing television series. In 1990 he starred and directed the Indian TV series The Sword of Tipu Sultan. While filming in 1989, he got severely burnt in a fire on the sets in Premier Studios in Mysore. He recovered after many months in hospital and has since produced and directed television serials. He also directed the Mega Indian TV series, based on life of Maratha General Mahadji Shinde called, "The Great Maratha". In the late 90s he directed the TV-series Jai Hanuman (1997–2000). In the new millennium, he directed a mini series called Maha Kavya Mahabharatand a movie starring Jessica Chapnik called Maryada Purushottam (2005).
At present he is the chairman of a hotel and spa in Bangalore called the Golden Palms.

Abbas (Sanjay) Khan was born in Bangalore. Two of his brothers, Feroz Khan and Akbar Khan, also work as actors. He has another brother, Sameer. They are originally from the Ghazni province of Afghanistan. His father was Sadiq Ali Khan Tanoli, who was an Afghan.
Khan is married to Zarine Khan. He has three daughters and a son. Elder daughter Farah (married to DJ Aqeel), second daughter Simone (married to Ajay Arora) and his youngest daughter Suzanne Khan (married to actor Hrithik Roshan). His son Zayed Khan is an actor who is married to Mallika Parekh.
Sanjay Khan has a passion for cars, especially imported ones.
